1^st round

1.       Choose one of the topics above

2.       All participants have to type essay in  minimum 500 words with font style  times new roman, font size 12, space 1.5 lines,  margin top, bottom, right, left and top 2 cm.

3.       Then submit the essay in soft copy to (email labsinterval2011@ymail.com) on 8^th june at 17.00p.m(the latest)

4.       Wil be selected a half of all participants to join the final round

Final round

1.       The final round will be carry out at Labschool Rawamangun on 12^th june at 08.00-09.30

Let's challenge your ability in spelling many English words by joining SMA Labschool Jakarta's first ever Spelling Bee Competition! The judges will be native English speakers.

3. Essay Writing Competition

What is Labs Interval?

Labs Interval (Labschool International Festival) is an annual English event from SMA Labschool Jakarta. It is handled by SMA Labschool Jakarta's English extracurricular, which name is LISA (Labschool International Students Association). Labs Interval started years ago and students from high schools in and around Jakarta are always interested and looking forward to join this competition.

The LISA extracurricular contains 11th grade and 10th grade members. LISA is divided into 2 classes: the debate class (Labschool Debating Corps) and the writing class.

Because it is not our first year, we've had experiences from the previous years' Labs Interval. We learned our mistakes, and implement our lessons on the next Labs Intervals.

It always has its different theme year by year. This year's theme is Unity in Diversity. We chose this theme because there has been so many conflicts in the name of religions, race, or tribes and we think that we're not supposed to fight in this beautiful diversity, but all we have to do is be tolerant and unite.

Labs Interval always has some English competitions and an International Culture Festival, like its name.

This year, we're going to have 3 competitions; english debate, essay, and spelling bee. We're also going to have a festival that will have some traditional dances from all around the world.
